The University of Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural History takes a comprehensive look at regional history through displays ranging from large mural paintings of past geological periods to authentic Native American artifacts garnered from the area. Exploring the four main local geographic areas, the Great Basin, Columbia Plateau, Pacific Coast and Western Valleys, the museum has interactive activities and special exhibits that rotate a few times a year. The museum is on the campus of the University of Oregon in southeastern Eugene, close to downtown.
Open Wed. - Sun. 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Adults $3; Seniors (62+) and Youth (3-18) $2; Children 2 and under are free.
